Looking for a healthy dessert alternative to make for the holidays? These Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal cookies from Myprotein ambassador

are just the thing to get you in the festive spirit without getting off routine.

Servings:  9-10 cookies

Cook time:  12-13 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1cup oats
  • 1cup of any flour
  • 1tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 1/4tsp baking soda
  • 1/2scoop protein powder
  • 1whole egg
  • 1/4cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1tbsp butter
  • 1/4cup of any powder sweetener
  • 1small chopped apple
  • Optional Icing Recipe:
  • 1tbsp cream cheese
  • 1/2scoop protein powder
  • 1tsp any milk

Instructions

  1. Bake at 350°F for 12-13 minutes.

  2. Notes:

    If you have parchment paper on hand, it is preferred over aluminum foil. You may also add chopped nuts as an additional topping.

    Optional zip lock bag technique: You can add your icing in a bag, then squeeze it to one corner and cut the tip off to spread the icing over your cookies.
