Sun’s out, so make room in the freezer for a delicious protein treat.

It’s time to make the most of the hot weather. And the best way to do that? Protein-infused ice cream. Sign me up. Few things are better than an indulgent frozen dessert. But when it’s on a stick? Unbeatable.

I think these are best enjoyed post-workout with your feet up and scrolling through TikTok. But maybe that’s just me.

Servings:  Serves 4

Ingredients

Layer 1

Layer 2

Toppings

  • 1 caramelised biscuit (crumbled)
  • 60g milk chocolate

Instructions

  1. Mix together the ingredients to make the first layer.

  2. Mix together the ingredients to make the second layer (caramelised biscuit layer).

  3. Add the first layer to the ice cream moulds, crumble in a caramelised biscuit, and then finish with the second layer.

  4. Add the sticks and put in the freezer for two hours or until set.

  5. Dip the ice creams in melted chocolate and freeze again until hard.

  6. Enjoy!

But as a huge fan of carbs, if it’s not pasta or pasta-adjacent, she’s not interested. If she’s not in the kitchen, she’s tucked up with a book for an early night, or you’ll find her in the gym working up a sweat. Afterall, all those carbs require quite the appetite.
